Healthy hair begins with healthy roots and a well-balanced scalp. As more people begin to understand what the latter means, scalp serums are becoming an important part of hair-care routines. “Your scalp is skin, and just as you would use targeted products to treat common skin concerns, you can do the same with scalp serums,” says Sophia Emmanuel, trichologist and V&Co. Beauty brand ambassador. While this knowledge isn’t exactly new, the rise in popularity of Korean scalp serums is bringing the trend into the spotlight.
